Do I still need to apply for the VWP if I am holding a K1 visa? Appreciate the clarification.

Hi all,

I am new here and would appreciate all the help render.

I am a Singapore citizen and is going to join my fiance in Miami during March, 2010. So my fiance and I had filed for a K1 visa and it had been approved. But do I still to go online to apply for the VWP (visa waiver program) before I depart for the States :unsure: ?

I had went to the website of of US travel state, customs etc..but none seems to mention about this. It will be unfortunate if I get rejected once I arrive at the US airport for missing out on 1 step :crying:

Helps are appreciated with my query.

You have a visa now, so no need for the Visa Waiver Program.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
