I 485 self filing

Hi,

To apply for the I 485 based on a family based immigrant petition I am preparing to self file. I have a few questions

1) Is it advisable to go with a lawyer at all times, or if the case seems straighforward enough can I file by myself (I have most of my documentation organized already)

2) Do I need to attach my W-2 forms to the application - my sponsors (parents) have attached theirs to the affidavit of support. The 485 instructions do not specifically seem to ask for the petitioners tax returns as evidence.

3) I have switched a couple of jobs on my H1, and my I 797 and I -94 have been renewed or the dates modified a couple of times.

Do I need to attach all the I-94 copies (I have not traveled outside the US), or the initial I-94 and latest I-94, or just the latest I-94

Do I need to attach all the I 797 copies, or just the latest one from the employer.

Appreciate the help, even answers to one of the parts will help...

Review the I-864, include it with the I-485.

Are you filing based on an underlying I-130 submitted by your parents (spouse?) or do you have an underlying I-140 Alien worker petition?

I have an approved I 130 filed by my parents whose PD is now current. (Approved a couple of years ago, PD just became current).
