that link is outdated. it's now a full-fledged scandal and outrage, and the previous story published in sweden should not in any way detract from that.

Israel has admitted pathologists harvested organs from dead Palestinians, and others, without the consent of their families – a practice it said ended in the 1990s – it emerged at the weekend.

Israel's health ministry said all harvesting was now done with permission. "The guidelines at that time were not clear," it said in a statement to Channel 2.

that health ministry must think anyone and everyone reading that quote is a f-ing moron. body-snatching edicts have been on the books since medieval times, if not earlier across the planet. but we're to believe it took the israelis until the late 1990's to learn of this and adapt it? what kind of chip do you have to be missing from yr brain to need "clear guidelines" to tell you that ripping out someone's organs without their prior consent is anything but wrong and atrocious?
