Flying with my 10 month old overseas, Please share your experience and advice.

My experience with flying with your 10 month old, is that it needs to keep quiet. My advice is a muzzle.

Why can't the airlines make loud, squealing things ride in the cargo hold?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

They should offer "Kids Flights" where any passenger travelling without children flies at a discount.

 You probably made googly noises at little babies on flights to try to cheer them up. Don't deny it, I bet it's true!!

Thank you for your helpful responses!(Except a couple ones...lol)

The other thing is that I'm also worried about the air pressure on the plane...I remember one time when the plane was about to land the pressure on the plane was so high I thought my ear drums were about to break..I heard that you should give them something to eat or to drink but I wonder if that really helps.

Give them a bottle or pacifier on take-off/landing. Worked for the twins when they were 4 months, 7 months, 15 months ....

don't forget a bottle for the parents too ... :hehe:

On the lap? No bassinet? They had that on Ethiopian Airlines when Nani and Naomi flew back in 2007.

I'm pretty sure the limit for that was 22lbs on our flights and Kavi was just over that and maybe too long, plus you need to book way in advance for those on the flights to India I've noticed. By the time we booked, none available anyway. Would be very useful for a baby!

No, this time I really am being truthful. I hate children. I really, really hate children. Especially babies. I can't deal with people/things below a certain intelligence level. Hence, my problems with Booyah, Eric, and others.
