I just have received the letter for the biometric appointment for Dec 31st and my husband and me are going to be traveling. I will try to walk in tomorrow (the office is not far from where we live). Should I go with my husband?

The K1 precess took us 9 long months.

Hubby can go if he wants but not required.

Him being there "may" help letting you do the early walkin.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

The US citizen isn't required to attend (aka, sit in the waiting area) - you can do it on your own.

Be sure to take:

  • Appointment letter
  • I.D.
  • Marriage certificate (in case of name change)

[i was not required to be there with the wife but bring those three items for sure. They do not have to but can take you in at anytime.

I walked in early in the morning today without any problems. The USCIS office in Ft Myers is new and they did not have a lot of people waiting. They asked me only for the appointment letter and my passport:)
