You can work when you have received work authorization (after marriage and have applied and received it) and as it relates to combining incomes itis a personal decision between you and you SO

K1 can only work when they have gotten EAD card or Green Card.

It all depends how soon you apply for AOS after you get married and how soon they approve your EAD application or your Green Card application.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

You acan work after you are married and file for and receive either the EAD or Green Card
