Running at people and catching them under the chin with an outstretched arm? Why would you want people across the country to do that?

I almost never use the clothes dryer - both me and my 83 yr. old mom are shameless!

My fiancée uses a clothesline in Thailand - don't know what she will do in NY but I DO have

a clothes dryer. What did the pilgrims do when the Indians couldn't sell them clothes dryers?

I guess they learned to make do.

I would love to be able to use a clothesline again but it is against our HOA regulations. I regularly hung the clothes out to dry in the back yard when I was still in Canada. I love the smell of air fresh sheets. Things always seemed to feel nicer dried in a light breeze. I actually don't find the site of clotheslines strung with clothes unattractive either - it has kind of a homey appeal to it.

as long as they keep those skidmarked briefs and other forms of stained undergarments off the clothesline............

Yeah, I'll grant ya that! - or hide them between the rows of sheets.

We almost never use the dryer, my wife thinks it wears out clothes prematurely.. and who am I to argue?

My area does not allow clothes lines but no one has "ratted" us out yet, actually she bought this little clothes rack she hangs most small things on to dry in the house.

A dryer takes a huge amount of energy.

Al Gore just let out a squeal of joy.

Now if we could just get him to cut back too.
