Yes It's True! The first month Jean was here was like a treasure hunt. My undies were worn out from all the moving. Now let me see which drawer they are in today

Same problem. You ever find your toothbrush in with the silverware?

Filipino style. Out of sight, out of mind.

Worse thing is my wife doesn't remember where she put things.

I don't either as I don't put things anywhere.

I think Claudeth rearranges so much is because she forgot where things are at so redoes them to find stuff. Of course I am now looling for something in one place that I had to search for to find before and now it is some place else

I tried to get Claudeth interested in school or some kind of training where she could go to work at something she likes or start her own business but she is just too busy arranging for anything like that

Thats how it is with my room in England, while at university i had 3 places i kept stuff (school, Camp in OK, and mums) now everything is back at mums I have to keep re-sorting that out as i have forgotten where everything is and so i can slowly bring stuff to my SOs with each trip so when the time comes to make the move i don't have a great deal of stuff to worry about.

I got myself in to some fitness training so when I get my EAD I can teach classes. Would this be counted as working or just training? :) I am not being paid and its classes as just training so the second the EAD comes through I am getting my qualifications and working. I passed my interview for the job yesterday and they are going to hold the position but I wasn't sure how the gov would see this?

I bake stuff for my in laws and my hubbie.. he thinks I am trying to put him into a diabetic coma! I have been driving already, my current license is good for a year and I am all insured on the car. Have been looking at the test for when I have to take it though, but not so much at the moment. Just signed up at Golds Gym, and they have child care which is nice so I get a break from my daughter!

My Fiancee and I had a very different image in our mind when I arrived, we thought it wouldn't be this stressful, all this paperwork, money worries. We are living with his parents and waiting to move out, but we cant until we paid the AOS, and until I get a good paying job. I am Thinking it would of been simpler to move him to the UK!

Plus sitting about all day and night is driving me stir crazy and we cant go out since we are very broke... Just waiting for this all to be over and for the fun stuff to happen...Grrrr. Anyone else frustrated or in a similar situation?

we're in the same boat Kayte... living with the inlaws.... I am grateful for their help but I really want our own place. I have moved so much and am used to being independent, its such a shift in pace for me I am struggling to adjust! All the things I took for granted at home.... like going to work and nipping out to the shops (we live in the middle of NOWHERE!)

Im that desperate for something for my brain to do, I started making a quilt haha! How American!

Alex I sent you a PM :).

We should all write down what we do each day... :) It would be nice to see what others are doing!

So far its 8:51am, I have made myself a egg white omlette, just about to do some pilates. Took my dog out for a walk, and am just about to re arrange my cosmetics in the bathroom before showering and doing my make up :).

This afternoon we are going to the VA office to find out about some kinda support for us, and then on to a Body Pump class and do a run at the gym so I can keep fit while here.

I also brought ShaunT beach body insanity to do over 90 days :) I also have p90x! However currently I am watching Stargate on Hulu and painting my nails.

I'm not sure where you read that volunteering and training is not allowed. I know of numerous VJers who have volunteered whilst waiting for EAD. In fact, volunteering is always a suggestion made here to new immigrants as a way of passing the time while AOS is processing.
