1. That's nice your petition is progressing. Yes you can try calling US Embassy.

This link will help you:http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwhniv1.html#step3

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

1. PASSPORT

2. APPLICATION FEE

3. APPLICATION FORMS – Both completed application forms (DS-156 & DS-157) are needed for each person, regardless of age. All questions must be filled out with a high level of accuracy. Errors and incomplete information may result in a visa processing delay.

a) DS-156 Form – Please fill out the form online, and then print it out using an inkjet or laser printer. The printout will be three pages in length and include the two-dimensional barcode page. Make sure that the barcode is printed clearly and completely, with no lines broken or torn.

B) DS-157 Form – Applicants should also complete the Nonimmigrant Visa Supplemental Application DS-157 Form. The form is provided at the bank where fees are paid. Applicants must ensure that the back of the DS-157 Form is machine-validated with check-rite. The U.S. Embassy does not validate DS-157 Forms.

Applicants whose DS-157 Form is not machine-validated by the bank with check-rite will NOT be allowed to enter the Embassy premises. The applicant will then have to book another interview appointment. Re-bookings do not require another application fee.

4. PHOTO – One 2” x 2” standard, full-frontal face position color photo against a white background taken within the last six (6) months is required. The photo must be glued or stapled to the application form where specified.

Note: The U.S. Embassy Manila also requires that both ears be showing in the photo. Please click here for additional information on photo specifications.

5. PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP (if applying with/for dependent/s)

ü Original marriage certificate printed on the Philippine National Statistics Office security paper, if applicable (if applying with a spouse and/or child)

ü Original birth certificate printed on the Philippine National Statistics Office security paper (for dependent/s)

SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT

There are two ways to book an interview appointment: through the Embassy call center or through the VisaPoint™ system.

1. Scheduling an appointment through the Embassy call center

These telephone appointment systems are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Philippine time, except Philippine holidays.

1-909-101-7878

for callers from within the Philippines

Calls made to this number cost 53 Philippine Pesos per minute, plus applicable provincial charges. This number is only for subscribers of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Company touchtone landlines with national/international distance dialing features.

Or

1-888-877-9888

for callers from within the United States (mainland only).

**IF you like to schedule for an advance medical at St.Lukes, bring an email of NVC showing your case number and 2x2 photos and ballpen.

Lets pray you and your loved one will be together this Christmas.

mga sis na magaganda.. kapampangan ne. Congrats Sis Llyne! and Miss lovely Anna Miss you and I am going to the CFO on Monday.

congratulations llyne. will take note of that. how much proof did u bring with u? i am kind of hesitating to bring all with me because there's a lot. i worry i wont be able to carry them all :(

This is what I did:

I had 3 folders:

1st folder-Immigration documents

2nd folder-photos

3rd folder- proof of relationship

These folders I used were the plastic folder with plastics inside about 20 plastics.

With the photos, I pasted photos on a colored construction paper, above each photo, i put on the details, date, time, venue.

Yes bring all you can. During the interview, do all your best, all your might and power.

During my interview what's on my mind is that i have to pass it, because husband over there and needs me, and with this lengthy and costly process, we really need to pass.hehe.
