w-2 and tax transcripts

Timeline

I just receive the tax return i needed for my appointment from my fiance but on the bottom of it w -2 was written on it ,all i want to now is will that be accepted anyone with any experience please tell me if what i have is whats required thanks .

a w-2 can be written on their is no rule against it... as long as the income information is still visible

W-2 is the tax form. It shouldn't be a problem unless it is marking out any key evidence of financial income.

If you still have time before your interview it might not be a bad idea to ask your fiance to call the IRS and ask for an official tax transcript to go along w/ the W-2 form. It is free and the IRS will send this usually in about a week. Not a bad idea to have this with you to compliment the W-2.
