My cousin had a stroke a few months ago and he is only 23. He had a hole in his heart. Scary stuff.

Sad, sad, sad. My DH has leaky valves . :crying:

Ugh...I blame my Dad. He always bought a car and 'kept it for life'...and that became a tradition that he passed on to me and my brother...hence, we keep our cars for at least 150,000 miles or more...until they really are completely beyond repair. I was living in Texas when I bought it and we didn't have much snow at all. And, believe it or not, it even did well in the Michigan winters because in Michigan they perpetually salt the roads (As Nagi can testify to!)...but here in Metro DC area...it has a bit of a tough time because we have less snow, but more black ice...

Anyways...in a about 10 days my car will be 16 years old...so it will be old enough (get ready for the punchline) old enough to drive! Get it? 16 years old / old enough to drive?

:goofy:

my grandparents were that way too. my grandpa would rather pay to have every single freaking thing fixed than buy a new car.

does it have t-tops?

Favourite winter pastime, then b##ch that there is a salt shortage. Yeah friggin' right. There is salt under the whole dang state.

what would I be doing if I was not cooking on a Sunday is the real question... lol

Going out to eat?

Commies...I tried to get out of our neighborhood and drive to work this morning. We have 3 rather large rolling hills which lead into our subdivision...and on the first rolling hill I went down just fine...but the upside of the hill (more steep than the down slope) was so slick that I couldn't make it to the top! I actually slid back down to the bottom...probably 50 yards...backwards!!! :help:

Once at the bottom, I had to put it in reverse and back up the hill and try again...but to no avail...:help: Finally, my nieghbor saw me and helped me get back up the hill...in reverse...by throwing a bunch of salt under my tires...so I am back home. I can't get out of my neighbood! Its just too icy this morning!

Oh well...working from home!

Wow, Bishop! That's enough to scare the heaven out of anyone!

Apostle K, who resigned? Was he a Rabbi?
