I-864 supporting documents **urgent**

My wife can't find her W2's of 2008 anywhere and we need them for the I-864 form... we went to H&R Block to pick up her tax return documents but they didn't have her W2's on file... she worked for 2 different companies that year and one company is NOT cooperating in sending us a W2 copy...

The other option we tried was we called the IRS office in Austin to ask them if they can fax us a copy of her tax transcripts and they said they can't do that because of security reasons... Our only option it seems is to fill out a form and have them mail it in, which could take 2 months. The RFE has a deadline on it and I simply can't afford to wait 2 months to get those forms.

Is there ANY way we can get anything sooner?! Please help

What? Weird. The IRS has an automated system that faxes you the returns immediately if you are next to a fax machine. You can find it right on the IRS website

Thank you for responding, we have the returns already but without a W2 they're not valid apparently (we got an RFE) so we need the W2 as well... or complete tax transcripts

If you provide the IRS tax transcripts no W-2s are required.

Thanks everyone, we got through to someone and they can fax it as long as we stay on the line at the same time. Since we don't have a fax machine my wife will use the fax machine at work. Hopefully we can send everything back today
