How long between login fail and case complete?

So, I login failed yesterday morning to the NVC, which was awesome. But as of tonight, my case is still not complete. When I called previously they'd said it was under final review, and I assumed that meant I'd be finished soon. But I just called and the operator with whom I just spoke said he had no record of "final review," and instead it seemed like the last thing on the account was that my additional evidence had been received last week. I'm not sure what to make of this--I'm a little worried that the NVC login fail may be false?

Spec, the operators can be complete morons at times. When I was calling for supervisor review updates, every other operator would only tell me that an RFE had gone out. I had to go into detail almost every single time for them to look further.
