At this point patience...The move, the holidays and now the national day of mourning for President Ford just delays things. Just think if you had an interview scheduled for Tuesday you have to now reschedule it.

You time will come. Does he have all his paper work ready now? What about his physical?

If you can afford to go do it. If not just make sure he is prepared.

WE ARE DONE!!!

Ok, I guess Im on.

Wagwan Yardies,

Several of you suggested that it is better that I go to the interview with him. I am worried since I am twice his age and that might make them suspicious. It makes everyone else suspicious. I welcome and help and/or kind words.

Don't worry.... Remember they already know how old you are, things will be fine.

My stress level is slowly getting higher! The fear of the unknown, not being able to communicate every minute of every day with him, chosing the right path to go down with this relationship! I just want him here to start our lives together!

Everyone says "TIME" but when you are as impatient as me TIME is null and void when it comes to getting what I want (i'm not spoiled just driven)

Hi all,

Welcome to all the newbies and was so sorry to hear BG's denial. That just sucks. I was totally dismayed when I read bout that.

Wanted to wish everyone a belated Merry Christmas and a happy upcoming New Year!

Lake did get approved for his leave of absence from the school, I tell you he is the luckiest man alive. One would think he was Irish. So he did go home to Guyana, left on the 20th. Well technically, the poor babe left the day before, as we had a big storm coming in and Mom was freaking out about it, and so we ended up taking him to the airport the night before. He was such a sweetheart about it, not wanting us to be driving in the ice or snow, so said no prob to go and just spent the night in the airport. We got him there a good 15 hours before his flight was due to leave, so of course he had a sore throat and was pretty cramped up by the time he reached New York. And we made a mistake, and his flight out was the very next night, when originally we thought he had 2 days in NYC. The tickets said the 22nd, leaving at 1;30 AM, and we were thinking Friday night, not Friday morning, but at least we got that figured out before he missed his flight! Good thing he made me confirm, thats when we found out!

I have been trying to get him to get to the dr over there, perhaps this weird malaise we have could be cured by some meds you can get in the tropics. We have contracted Lyme from the stuff we had earlier in the year, which sucks. Who knew scabies carried lyme? Also a multitude of other probs, and this weird thing some people are calling Morgellons. Its the most horrid thing in the world and will make you totally suicidal, so I havent posted much, just doing all we can to maintain. Need all the prayers we can get. Dont mean to solicit prayers, but its the only thing I can think of that will help at this time, as the medical profession sure doesnt know what to do about it. I guess its real similar to the Gulf War Syndrome, so coupled with Lyme, we have a fight on our hands, and it surely does feel that way. I had a friend I grew up with commit suicide the week before Christmas, and it just made me fighting mad. Depression is a fun ride compared to this #######! Grrr! I know, I know, not meaning to make light of depression, but really, one should always appreciate life I think, and given being depressed or feeling like you have bugs crawling on you every night and sometimes during the day, being afraid to visit friends, or hold your baby niece for fear she will catch whatever it is, I am pretty sure I would pick the depression, but... seeing as I have experienced the one and not the other, I guess I shouldnt judge.

So, go ahead and give me support, I sure as heck need it. I miss you guys lots.

Love to all

Jill
