HI AGAIN,

WELL SINCE THE NOA1 TAKES LIKE 2-3 WEEKS AND SINCE I DON'T HAVE MY GREEN CARD WITH ME, SO I NEED THE ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO GET A STAMP IN MY PASSPORT, SINCE I NEED TO MAKE A TRIP TO MY COUNTRY ON DEC. 11, MY QUESTION TO EVERYONE IS:

SHOULD I BUY MY PLANES TICKET FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTERS NEXT WEEK EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE MY NOA1 YET?????????

I DON'T THINK THEY WILL DENIED TO REMOVE MY CONDITIONS SINCE WE HAVE TWO GIRLS TOGETHER. WE DON'T OWE A HOUSE AND ALL THE UTILITIES BILLS ARE UNDER HIS NAME. TOMORROW I WILL OVERNIGHT MY PACKAGE TO THE VSC SINCE I AM IN LOUISIANA.

I REALLY NEED TO BUY 3 PLANE TICKETS BECAUSE RIGHT NOW THEY ARE AT ALMOST $500.00 EACH AND IF I WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE THEY WILL BE AT 800$ EACH. ALSO I HAVE HAVE HAVE TO LEAVE ON DEC. 11 THIS IS WHY I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ITS TOO RISKY TO BUY THEM WITHOUT AN ANSWER FROM THE USCIS.

PLEASE ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO. THANKS :)

if you are sure you wont get denied , my advice is buy the tickets while they are cheap if worst comes to worst and you dont have your extention letter in time ,

you can call the airline and postpon your trip pay the extra when your ready to go

If you do not receive the letter by the time of your trip, make an infopass appointment and ask for a stamp in your passport due to impending travel.

And please STOP using all capital letters when you type. It's akin to SCREAMING - not to mention hard to read.

Oops! Sorry, I tend to this very often (writting in capital letter). Thanks for the advice, I will buy my plane ticket next week and if I don't have anything for the end of this month I will make an info pass appointment.

You can have a bio appt rescheduled (it says so right on the notice itself and even tells you how to do that). Only harm really is that it might delay the case slightly.

The NOA1 has nothing to do with removing conditions successfully or being denied. It's a receipt that USCIS has received your package and it looked to be in compliance. It takes about a week to get an NOA1 and it's the first week of November.

So what's up with the December travel?

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Well but for what I understand, this receipt tells you that they have received your package and you have one year extension for them to make a decision right? please explain this. If I send my package tomorrow overnight, it gets at VSC next day, would I get my extension notice next Friday???

December travel: We are going to stay for christmas here in new orleans, but my step daughter and my niece are coming for christmas, I have to go pick them up on dec. 12 or 13 they are 8 years old. My husband can't trouble because is a good month for our business. This is why I have to buy plane tickets as soon as I can. I will buy them and with the help of God I will get my extension notice before dec. and if I don't get it by the time of my travel I will see what I can do with the airline. I don't think my case will take too much, the first time I got my green card was sooo fast, like super fast.
