and i suppose the philippines is better? :)

see post #26 before restarting that subject again.

it's all good. i just find it funny when people make such comments without realizing what they themselves are dealing with.

USCIS considers expedites on a case by case basis if the applicant or peitioner has military deployment orders. I don't know what the Embassy's policy is.

If someone has orders to go to a war zone, I don't begrudge them wanting (and being granted) expedited processing so they can make sure their loved one is taken care of. It's the least we could do for our men and women in uniform. They're putting themselves in the line of fire so that we don't have to. For those of you who are so adamant that active military not be given special treatment, maybe you'd prefer to have the draft instead?

Well said. I am too military and deployed to the middle east. I am hoping to get my case expedited when i finally get a case number. I figure it can't hurt to ask. The military ruined my first marriage. There is a reason why the spouse is entitled to our retirement if they stayed married to us for 10 years or more. The military member is not the only one in the military...the spouse is too.

As far as the OP, i think you just hit the right timing to get your case through. Also, i have read where the spouse/fiance has gone to the interview. If you can make it for the interview, I feel that is good. Of course hopefully you can stay long enough in the PI to bring your fiancee back with you. Goodluck to you.

:bonk: you know who you are!

if you are going to add to the thread, don't add something that is guaranteed to provoke a flamefest.
