NOA2- Not in country

Just wanted to know what we need to do if the petitioner is not in the country when the NOA2 arrives? Do we get a specified period to respond within? I will be away for a month during december-january- and my timeline shows i shoud (hopefully!) be getting the approval during that time.

there is nothing to respond to and unless consulate specific she does not need it for the interview. Can someone check your mail? You WILL need it for the AOS.
