I lost my W-2 and Tax Returns for 2008. Ive heard that the IRS transcripts are fine. Is that true?

Did you use a service or software ? Either entity might have a copy stored somewhere.

In most cases, transcripts are actually better - they prove that you filed with the IRS, copies of the return only prove that you filled out the forms.

Based on your timeline, I'm guessing that you're preparing for the interview, gathering supporting docs for the I-134 affidavit of support. So, this belongs in the Embassy and Consulate Discussion forum.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

yes they do is also free call the toll free number and they will send the last 5 years if you need them, thats what i just order too! i dont have the number here but call them they will do it quickly! good Luck!
