well after waiting 1.5 years to get approved from uscis, our k1 was approved on september 2 2009, it's been over month and half and our case has not reached the nvc yet, this whole process is ridiculos, anyway does anybody have any suggestions as to what can I do to get my case to the nvc?

When you call NVC, are you trying to check your case number with the automated system or are you actually speaking with an operator?

If an operator tells you that your case has not been received, then I would suggest you start making inquiries with USCIS and your congressman or senator.

Good luck!

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

everytime i call the nvc, i speak with a live operator, i have already contacted my congressman, uscis sent an email to the congressman saying that our case had been sent to the national record center instead of the nvc,

To squeak in here. I received an email on Oct 15 saying that my NOA2 was approved. A bit early yet to do much of anything as I wait for the hard copy to arrive. But when does one contact the NVC to see if they have received the docs from the USCIS? Does the hard copy give you any info about this? Or the next steps? Are you supposed to get something from the NVC stating they now have your paperwork or is it up to you to call and find out your status? Not in a rush or anxious but would like to know. thanks for any input.

you can call the nvc after about a week of your case approval by uscis email, just give then your uscis receipt number and make sure you speak to a live operator, once your case gets to the nvc, you can ask for your case number and you will also get a letter from the nvc regarding your case.
