Hello All!

Well, I have my new USA passport, have the citizenship certificate back, have a voter registration card and an updated SSN card...what else is there...? I think I may be done! :dance:

A HUGE thank you to everyone on VJ - you have all made this process so much easier and have offered invaluable assistance along the way!

12/16/2008 finally Approved

N-400

12/03/08 Eligible to file N400

10/03/09 Mailed N-400

10/07/09 NOA

10/13/09 Check cashed

10/30/09 FP appointment

11/07/09 Case sent to Local office for interview

11/23/2009 Received interview letter with an as of date of 11/18/2009

12/15/2009 Interview scheduled ---Approved

01/06/2010 Oath Ceremony

Congats on being a citizen and getting all that US Citizenship updates and paperwork done afterwwards.. :dance:

Nothing else for you to do next...yes, you're done! So sit back, relax, and enjoy life as a US Citizen!!!

Lol...If you have extra time...maybe you can burn and/or shred all that paperwork that you've gathered over the years in dealing with the USCIS....(just kidding...but then again..who needs all that extra joint evidence for the USCIS all over again....)

P.S. What's the difference between a non-citizen SSN card and a US citizen SSN card? I thought one just keeps the same card and number, regardless. I guess not then?

Yeah from what I remember, the I-9 form is about all that's left and you don't even have to do anything but tell HR that (if you currently work that is)...

Nov - Moved to US

Recieved 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th TN

2002

May - Met future wife at arts fest

Nov - Recieved 6th TN

Nov - Recieved 7th TN

Jul - Our Wedding

Aug - Filed for AOS

Sep - Recieved EAD

Sep - Recieved Advanced Parole

2004

Jan - Interview, accepted for Green Card

Feb - Green Card Arrived in mail

2005

Oct - I-751 sent off

2006

Jan - 10 year Green Card accepted

Mar - 10 year Green Card arrived

Oct - Filed N-400 for Naturalization

Thank you all! Yes, I have informed my employer and done a new I-9...I looked everywhere on the DMV site for Maryland and couldn't find anything about citizenship...I guess I'll tell them when I renew my license!

The SSN cards are the same but I was told it is important to inform SS about the new citizenship status. My number is still the same but I have a new card!
