Do any of you guys/gals use Vkontakte.com?

I've been on there since being with Anna and I wouldn't mind adding some "locals" since all my current friends on there are actually Anna's friends.

I just started registering and when they wanted to send me an SMS code to confirm registration.... I gave up. Between facebook and MySpace, I already lose way too much time "networking" socially. I guess I don't really need another site.

I wanted to support you, AKguy, but I guess I'll just have to hit you up on MySpace.

You don't actually have to do the SMS thing. It just activates certain features (like name-changing).

Vkontakte is worth it if you enjoy free music and tv.

Thanks for the thought Slim!

I don't remember anything about an SMS code, maybe I joined before they implemented that.

If anyone ends up having or getting an account hit me up if you want. http://vkontakte.ru/id19623425

i use it but not very often...usually only to say 'happy birthday' or when I get an email notification or something.

As of:

June 26, 2012 - The Hubbs received his 10-year Permanent Residency Card (aka THE Greencard) in the mail today!

At long last, this highly stressful leg of our journey has come to a close - for now - and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for all the tremendous help and support here on VJ! Without VisaJourney I doubt we would be where my husband and I are today! Thanks to all!

I never really have time for free music and tv. Hell, I've been friends with AKguy for months on MySpace and we've posted one message. (He's busy too!) The SMS thing was required when I tried to sign up. It wouldn't let me go to the next page without inserting a number. I tried to circumvent it but it wouldn't let me. I clicked on home, profile, etc., but it just kept going back to that SMS page.
