Good luck! How did you make out with your job and finding out if you do have to renounce your Canadian citizenship?

I'm back! The interview and testing was a breeze

Here is a brief overview of what went down:

My co-worker who had her testing scheduled 30 min after mine slept in, and was supposed to pick me up so we had this mad rush going on first thing this morning to get there. We arrived, waited about 5 minutes outside then went through security inside. Next, we took the elevator up to the 2nd floor. Once we got up there, we submitted our interview letters to a very laid back security officer sitting at a desk, then took a seat and waited.

About 2 minutes later I was called by a friendly middle aged man. He led me through a few corridors and into his office. While sifting through my paperwork, he asked me a few questions "How many times have you been married" came up a few times (just once, so I'm not sure what the emphasis was on that part for, lol,) then he recited a phrase and asked me to write that phrase on a piece of paper. Next, he quizzed me on the civics. For this, you need to get 6/10 correct in order to pass. I got the first 6 correct, so he stopped at that point. SIDE NOTE: He never asked me civics questions that were not on the flashcards on the USCIS, so I must say those were crucial in getting me where I needed to be for the knowledge part of this.

Long story short, I was approved but still have to wait for my removal of conditions to be approved before I can attend the oath ceremony. He advised me to send him all my evidence for the I-751 as well as any documentation I've received from USCIS in regards to that and he will try to fast track it. My co-worker was also approved and will be attending her oath ceremony this Thursday the 15th.

PS- I haven't gotten an official answer back about the dual citizenship and my job rating, but I researched it myself and it looks like I would have to drop my Canadian citizenship, so I've decided to just take the other rate and keep my Canadianness.

congratulations - I'm sure you will get the ROC approved soon - you've got someone on your side working on it now! Also, congratulations on your decision re: your Canadian citizenship. I'm sure you won't regret it.
