I think it's interesting that Shepard Smith was so vocal about it without getting fired. We'll see how this goes over with the Teabaggers...see if they boycott Fox News to get him booted off the air.

Why would they? The advertisers boycotted Glenn Beck, a rather more effective policy, depriving Ol' Rupert of $$$$$'s, and that didn't work.

Why would Fox fire Shep? He brings an element of truth to the "Fair and Balanced" slogan - as you have just so handily proven.

BTW - SAying the advertisers boycotted Glenn Beck is a little wrong. They released statements saying it had nothing to do with the content of the show. He still is more popular than any show on any of the other channels. Averaging over 2 million per show (of course Oreilly is still on top).

I like Shep Smith. But I do have to find it funny that now that this is something he said that supports the public option, on "evil" Fox News, it gets posted as a "Go Shep Smith!" thing. Maybe they aren't always as evil as people assume. I know they are right wing compared to most of the news channels but that doesn't mean everything they say is wrong. And I'm just blah blah blahing because no one will listen anyway.
