I have gathered everything. I've been putting all of the things together and starting to make my cover letter when I realized I don't know if there should be a specific order of these things or not. Can anyone (with just a little detail) tell me what they included and in what order they put their documents in? It may seem like asking a lot but I would really appreciate a little help. I'm so close!!

Cover letters are optional. As such you can format it any way you like. Writing "Here Ya Go!" on a blank piece of paper with magic marker will work. Most important is making sure everything gets stuffed in the envelope. When it gets to USCIS they will take it apart and put it into their own folder, and a few hours after arrival t will be indistinguishable from anyone else's petition.

Now for the important stuff

Send it US Postal Service WITH delivery confirmation or Certified with return receipt. NEVER send ANYthing without having delivery confirmation.

Make a copy of the entire contents for yourself, three copies are better. One for you, one for her, one just in case. Sounds silly, but I assure you, much less silly than a cover letter

Use a personal check for payment so you can track the payment.
