Various areas are much more affected than others. All of the wankers I work with have one thing in common. They're from the NYC to DC area. Both have suffered really. Look at the cities between NYC to DC and then look at Berlin, Amsterdam or Paris. In terms of aesthetic, quality of life, attitude, being modern, PT etc, I would not rank one city in the NE higher than a 12 out of a 100.
