Timeline

My wife had her interview yesterday morning in Dallas at 9am for her US Citizenship and later that afternoon she had the oath ceremony and received her citizenship certificate and then we went and applied for her passport the same day. She told me the interview went well and was only 10 minutes.

Glad we finally got to this point and its finally over! :dance:

:dance::dance::dance: Congrats to you and your wife! My interview was yesterday too at 6:30 AM and had my oath in the afternoon. My husband and I are so happy that we are done with the immigration. :thumbs::thumbs:

06/13/09 - received letter in regards to my inquiry to Customer Service - stating husband had recently missed biometric appointment (never received a notice in mail) - going to be rescheduled - letter dated 06/05/09

06/17/09 - received Notice for biometrics appointment - dated 06/12/09

06/26/09 - Biometrics Appointment - St. Albans, VT

08/20/09 - Received Interview Appointment Letter

10/05/09 - Interview - Albany, NY- PASSED

We did the expedited service for the US passport and got the passport book in 1 week! The original US citizenship certificate came a few days later. Now she will need a visa to go back to her old country. :star:
