You're kidding, right? I don't think this post would go over too well with the countless number of people that have been waiting infinitely longer going through the California Service Center. You should relax.

You JUST STARTED this process on May 20. There have been two US holidays since that date when the service centers were closed. And oh yeah, we're in the middle of the IMBRA debable.

Relax and try to find some patience - they have to get through all the recalled petitions and people while filed between March 6 and May 20 before they can get to you.

You are at the Vermont Center, trust us your wait will be nothing compared to those of us at CSC. Look at the timelines of those that have submitted to Vermont, that will give you a good idea of how long the wait will be. Your congressman cant help you speed the process up if you are well within the normal processing time for Vermont.

I think it's fair to say here that the wait is hard .. no matter what service centre First off you ARE very lucky you got Vermont .. there are still people waiting for vermont approvals from March n April and who knows what random order they are doing things in because it doesn't seem to be by date .... @ any rate you won't be waiting all that long i wouldn't think if your case doesn't require and RFE's .. Just try to be relaxed .. and for the record i think we all know how hard that is in such a situation We all need to Rem. A little bit of kindness and Respect go a long way in this world ... Go to the above site and choose your state .. it will show you your senators

And go to the above if you want your congressman

You are certainly can contact your Senator, but perhaps saving that until you actually need to leverage the contact, might be a better strategy. Don't waste their time as your case is still very new.

The wait is hard. Many of us have been there and some. Find a way to help you cope and to pass the time. Read a good book, redecorate a room, exercise obsessively, so you are in great shape for your love, etc..
