Finally got the K1 approved !!! I don't know about the details yet, but when Natasha gets back to Belarus, she will write and tell me about everything. For now, we are both happy this part is over !!

FYI - US Embassy in Warsaw.

Natasha had an 8:30am interview and she said everyone was very nice to her. Then they asked her questions (i will know these later), she took our WHOLE package with her and it weighed a ton and they said they did not need it! Then they said come back tomorrow at 7:30am, they wanted some time to review her russian documents. She came back the next morning, they asked her some more questions, took her passport and said to come back inbetween 3-4pm. She went back that afternoon and received her passport back with the approval stamp.

She said a couple was there, he was from Chicago and she was from Belarus. The guy flew in for the interview and had the tickets to leave the next day. They ended up losing the flilght the next day becuase they had to do the same thing as Natasha. Interview the 1st day, review documents, come back the next day for more, and then pickup your passport around 3 or 4pm.

So, do not purchase a ticket leaving the next day !!!!

12/12/05 rec. by the Nebraska svc.

12/21/05 packet went to TX svc.

3/31/06 lawyer rec. letter wanting more information. they lost all photos and other docs., so lawyer over-night photos again, plus the WHOLE package to ensure no other delays will happen! Now the package is in Calif. Svc. Center.

4/10/06 - NOA2 !!!
