K-1 estimated timelines

I'm reading posts where people are referring to their "estimated timeline". Where are they finding these estimated timelines at? I've seen Igor's overall list that shows how many people have pending applications, I see where people post how far along they've come. But if there is somewhere that gives me an estimated date as to when the NOA2 would come I would LOVE to know where that is! I know everyone is excited about the possibilty of those petitions being processed fairly quickly so without getting too excited I would appreciate knowing where to find it!

Thanks!

Click "Immigration Timelines" on the horizontal menu above. On the very left hand side it says edit/add entry. Here you can make your own timeline with your own info and it will predict when your NOA2 will come. It may change drastically early on, but gets more accurate the closer you get to the date.

Because you filed so recently it may say not enough info yet to predict. Just give it a few days and come back if this happens.

You can also click your own timeline... on yours you'll see "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between December 25, 2009 and January 9, 2010*. "

Which is likely to change, but there ya go.

Why is it that it would change so much at the beginning but not so much towards the end? Is it just because as peoples NOA2 start coming it the system gets a better indication as to how long it may ACTUALLY be taking?

I understand that it will change I'm just wondering why it changes more early in the process vs later in the process. Does anyone know why it does that?

It will change because the more information closer to your date about the current processing times makes your timeline more accurate. The more samples in an experiment the more accurate a result is much the same concept. You really don't know what is going to happen 3-5 months from now in terms of approvals, VSC has proven this in the past month. A month ago it was really far behind and now it is almost the same as CSC.
