I have no idea whats going on with the 485 touches. I have been getting one every singel day. Lets just hope for the best.

GOOD NEWS !!! USCIS ordered production of my EAD card yesterday... I`m so happy . I can finally relax for now..until my interview comes..lol. Wow, I actually got an update on my EAD which came to me as a surprise. I am so relieved because I can start looking for a job and I can stop stalking my mailman for now ... well until next week...he will get a two day break from me...hehehe

I did enjoy the snowfall - that is all people could talk about all day long, it was awesome. I'll take mushy snow over rain any day. I wish it stuck around though

I know it is just a little step, but it is a step in the right direction. I received my "Card Production ordered Email" on my EAD about 2 minutes ago.

Yay! It does seem that USCIS sends e-mails/texts when big things get done like an EAD approval, so that's good!

After a long wait, finally I got the FP and bio done today !! The appointment was at 2pm, but I got in an hour early. I was told this Tucson location is alwys busy. Fortunately there were only 2 people when I got there. The lady took all the fingerprints and I was looking at the screen and it showed a score of 0! The lady said dont worry about it, this software is a scam lol.. and that she decides on the quality of the print. So after that got the picture taken and was told to fill up a comment card and I was out of there in about 10 mins!

You know- THIS REALLY SUCKS!!!! I am really happy for all of you GC, EAD, and AP approvals but we filed before a bunch of you guys and we still can't even access EAD/ AP online and haven't had any touch on AOS in about a month. I really hate how they don't seem to work in order. Just ranting now but every post I see that says "don't worry you'll get yours soon" or "it looks like you'll get yours this weekend" really bothers me because we are almost at two months since NOA1 and over a month since we got BIO done.

Just ranting now but every post I see that says "don't worry you'll get yours soon" or "it looks like you'll get yours this weekend" really bothers me because we are almost at two months since NOA1 and over a month since we got BIO done.

All I can say is we are in the same fix. My wife did not file for the AP or EAD. The only thing we filed for was the GC. Our check cleared the bank on October 16th. We had the Biometric but (1) nothing since, (2) our MSC number is not listed online and so we have no clue if the I-485 has been touched. We wait on the US Mail and since October 23rd we have gotten nothing in the mail. There has been NO RFE. Since we were never transferred to the CSC I assume we need to go to an interview, but we have no clue when yet. Since Beth can't even get a learner's permit to drive until she get's her CG in Wyoming, (which is as rural as you can get,) she is completely dependent on me for everything outside the house. I can't even service my customers as to do that takes me away from home for days. We are a little stressed out.

However, I need to go and get my fingerprints taken again because they 'had trouble processing' the ones they took the other week The woman had a lot of trouble getting my fingerprints to read because I use a keyboard often. What if it happens again?

Thank you Mike! I was feeling quite frustrated and alone. I am a part-time teacher and its getting harder and harder to pay the bills without my husband being able to work and he is getting really stressed out as this is the first time in his adult life when he can't work and its winter here in Buffalo so its too cold to really even do anything outside. So, thank you for sharing your struggle.

Document production or Oath Ceremony

On December 4, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a green card) or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, refugee travel documents or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.
