Joe the Plumber coming back to Livingston County

The Livingston County Republicans will host Joe the Plumber Wurzelbacher as keynote speaker for our annual Reagan Dinner at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Crystal Gardens Banquet Center, 5768 E. Grand River Ave., Howell.

Wurzelbacher, a sharp critic of President Barack Obama's stance on the economy, spoke at a Tea Party Express event in Brighton earlier this month.

Dinner tickets are $50 per person. There will be a private VIP reception prior to the dinner from 5-7 pm, also at Crystal Gardens as well. Tickets for the private reception are $100 per person and are separate from dinner tickets.

If he was giving a free speech in a downtown area and I happened to stroll by; I might lend him my ears for 5-10 minutes. But I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to a "Joe the Plumber speech."
