need to apply visa or no?

hi guys! i have a friend from czech( he is czech citizen) planning to marry his girlfriend living in Louisiana USA... They plan to get married in USA next yr. The question is does he need to apply a spousal visa after they got married or no? thanks for your responses... I've really appreciated your help about it and hope to enlighten my friend...:-) Have a brilliant day to all of you in here!!! :)

You do not need a spousal visa to get married in the US. Czech Republic is a VWP country so this person would simply need to come to the US.

Now, if this person/couple wants to live together in the US, then that is a different story.

thanks for the very quick response, ive really appreciated! if they plan to live in Czech Republic, does he need to apply a spousal visa or his girlfriend can just move in Czech? thanks again...

Now, if this person/couple wants to live together in the US, then that is a different story.
