Don't get no respect....

There I was, waiting to take a shower after work last night. I work for a heavy steel fabricator and Shirr does not like the smell of the rusty steel. So anyway, I was standing in the door of the CR waiting for her to finish with good old #2. I told her to make sure to flush a couple of times so she wouldn't plug the toilet... again... :lol:

She says NO, just get in the shower cause it stinks and flipped on the shower. I said What?? After you set it to cold water? I think not. She gets this hurt look on her face and say I did not do that!! I reply Only cause you did not think of it!! That hurt look fades rapidly into a evil plotting look and she admits that No she had not thought of it... :devil:

I get into the shower and as I wash my face the curtain is pulled back just behind me and I get a large cup full of ice cold water dumped on my back!! She says Thats for saying I plug the toilet!! And then flushes it!!

I just don't get no respect at all..... :innocent:

What's a guy to do.....

Become handy with plumbing?

Suggest you install outside shower head with seperate hot water feed (use this before you come inside) , and replace toilet with bidet ;)

If you wanted respect you should have bought a dog instead of $^%&^(*^.

HEHE they really don't bite the had and they dont know how to have FUN with ice cold water.

REALLLY THOUGH my wife and I are always having funny little problems and the ... playfulness seems to

always workout into LAUGHTER and overlooking what ever it was to start it all off.

Rememeber she is only helping you get ready to revisit the PHILIPPINES where there usually is no hot water

ONLY COLD.

As the temps will soon be dropping well below freezing I really don't this this is an option...

Point well taken, laughter usually fixes most everything indeed. You are correct again, her house in province has no hot water in the shower, only cold.

Oh well... I guess I will live... :blush:

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. I used to ambush David with my icy cold hands on his bare bottom whenever he's in the bathroom. The first time, we both thought it was cute. The second time, he just laughed and didn't mind it at all. BUT the third time, I got chewed up, was told that it was not nice to surprise somebody like the way I did. Apparently, he just put up with me those 2 times that I did it. :whistle: Married for more than 2 years and have never used my cold hands on his back again, ever.

What a party pooper he is!!

Shirr puts her cold feet on my back at night and I don't mind at all. They warm up fast and its really nice to have her all toasty warm and close. :dance:

I think its a natural immunity gained from no hot water back home. Actually, I found the early morning water at her house in Phils to be warm enough to take a shower. It actually felt rather nice.

You should be in here in Phoenix now. Warm water comes out as you turn on the cold water handle!

Hi Phil,

I think, that is just because she is pregnant. Pregnant women as they said, are very sensitive and get hurt easily even for no reason at all. LOL! ( just heard it from my relatives, never been pregnant myself), and they tend to do silly things. So that was it!

Just continue to be patient with her and show her all the time how you love her in spite of it all.

You would be having a cute baby!
