beneficiary's job

hi everybody,i have a good job at bibliotheca alexandrina (am the beneficiary) i need to quit my job once i finish the nvc phase,cos i will be occupied with ccie network expert course and it needs a lot of time and money as well.iam a little bit afraid can this affect my interview or visa issuance?

your planning to emigrate to another country... it is not uncommon for this to occur as you are winding down your responsibilities

unfortunately, it is not advisable to quit a job until you have the visa in your hands. the reason being, no one is guaranteed a visa at the time of interview. also, many, many people have to go through additional processing (AP) for additional security checks. From reading on VJ, i have seen it take anywhere from a couple of weeks to well over a year. good luck in your decision

As payxibka said - they (the Embassy/Consulate) is aware you are planning to move to the US and part of moving is winding down things like jobs, homes/apartments etc. They do not expect a person to remain employed up to the day they leave .
