I have a general question and this is not necessarily related to me but how many of your spouses, SOs, etc. have no interest in obtaining a citizenship and want to just remain a permanent resident?

Louis wants to get his citizenship... It is my understanding in order for us to get his mom here her would need this.

Also we want to live in St Lucia but be able to travel back and forth freely... like stay in SLU for long periods of time.

I will become a SLU citizen.

They don't have to give up their original citizenship?

As USC you can become a dual citizen?

I was told I had to give up my EU passport (German citinzenship) when I became a US citizen. There was no dual citizenship allowed last I checked. Anyway, I am just thinking ahead for hubby regarding filing for citizenship. I do not intend to stay in the US for my retirement and hubby feels the same way. We want to move to JA.

not every country will recognize a dual citizenship - the US will, but the other country might now - Even if you have dual citizenship, you are required to travel on your US passport -

They found a cyst on my ovary. It is a hemoragic (sp) cyst. It is a cyst that is filled with blood. It is benign and all is well. I gotta do another one in 6 weeks.

Hey Yardies !! I had a pretty nerve racking day i had my first MAJOR nursing test in human physiology today ! i feel confident that i did well so we'll see..i studied my rass off so i hope i passed ! but i just got some good news awhile ago..i called NVC they said they sent the case to Kingston last friday..so i'm like in shock right now..last time i called was last wed and they said it was still processing....so i'm super happy right now ! ; ).. one step closer to being wit my boo !

How do i find out if Kingston received our case ? Do i call DOS 202# or do i email the embassy ?? NVC said the sent it last fri so i'm assuming it should be there by now..

Hey Yardies!! Mi miss yuh bad bad!!! i am trying to play catch up... i missed everything including my own approval I wanted to put in big azz bold letters i was approved like everyone else do lol. non the less like i said on fb i been thru hell but im back and better now! my exprience have made me understand god and the bible much better then i have ever known so i would go thru everything all over again to know what i know now...
