I got 6 refrigerators, 3 Freezers 4 ovens, 100's of pounds of food and protective devices/shooting materials...So i'm thinkin I could hold out a year or more....either my 300 lbs of dogs(both of em) or my armory will keep out any unwanted entities. Of course the only thing I would need is gas for the generator but I could get a large storage contatiner and put it in my storage room real quick, I live near a large pipeline co. and near a very large field of gas storage facilities and a local distributor for petrol/kerosene products. So i'm set.

I've got perhaps 12-14 tons of ammunition and components (will the Col. accept tonnage as a count?) and you've got Pizza!!!!! we're set. It will be like college days!!!!!!! I handload for about 70 different cartridges, including the ones you can make from something else or use the same dies for, so I think I can cover your needs. I like pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion and pineapple on my pie!

To be honest, I think its plausible there could be a rise in popularity of ultranationalist groups - exactly what has happened in many European countries over the last few years (though for different reasons).

I find it very hard to believe that a movement like that would be anything more than an minority thing (and a very small minority at that).

I find it very hard to believe that a movement like that would be anything more than an minority thing (and a very small minority at that).

It happens here as well, every time someone with liberal political leanings takes office. Here they're just called Militias.

What I don't understand is that even though people know full well that there is little significant difference between the major parties, that they get so passionate about defending the system that churns out these politicians.

Which happened with McVeigh and all the other nutters who have carried out these one man band crazy acts? The army have ways of dealing with nutters in their midst - it's not a new phenomena. The nutters will not win over the army nor will they make even the vaguest impression on the political system unless and until there is actually some real breach of the constitution. There will be a certain amount of posturing by those who mistakenly believe that the act of gun ownership has any relevance on whether the USA remains a free country but they will not collectively start firing at anyone.
