Salaam Mena-

My computer has been down- and I have yet to take it in. Ah! I haven't seen Ghassan since Monday night via webcam. This is the longest for us.

I do have my old laptop which we are just chatting on. I am surprised that my ole' laptop is able to work on 2 pages tonight. Not much memory to it or speed.

Miss hearing from you all... Isha'Allah I will have my other one up and running early next week.

Baj

ah. the longing....

Happy Saturday/Caturday!

Yesterday was just another regular day until we found out we hit the lotto, we won $5,000!:dance: that was quite a shock and the excitement that we had.

I've got so much to do today for the cookout tomorrow. Yesterday, I concentrated on the outside. I actually powerwashed our fence, driveway, patio( I love our powerwasher!), vacummed the pool, etc. Today, I will be focusing on the inside. I hate the inside work!

Wishing everybody a great Labor Day Weekend!!!

Wow 5000$ AMAZING!! Congrats and hope you enjoy it!!!!!!

I cant sleep. I took dayquil on a severely empty stomach at about 1am and now I have terrible pains in my belly. Ahh oh well. Sofyan is working overtime today so he cut out about 4am so its just me and Zaid til 2pm or so. Zaid is FINALLY going for a haircut, ive been putting it off for 2 weeks. I swear that has to be the one thing that drives me nuts about having a boy, he MUST have a haircut every 6 weeks or else he looks like a weatherman. lol. Hopefully he behaves, he always has for haircuts but he has been in rare form the past week or so.

Hope everyone has a great loong weekend. Were throwing my grandpa a surprise 82nd bday party tomorrow :)

Congratulations, Maureen! That's awesome!

Good morning and Happy Caturday to all.

Tonite we may possibly go to the show as my husband loved it so much when we went last weekend. 0ther than that, same ####### different day around here.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Woot! That's awesome, Maureen!!! Congrats!

I'm up and about to head to the gym before the guys wake up. Of course they didn't go to bed until like 6...they think they're so sneaky, sneaking back up after I think they're in bed. Ah well...school's in 3 more days so they'll have to broken of this habit. Zayd has drum lessons at 12:30. Afterwards some back to school shopping. Then we may go down to Hamtramck for their festival later on this evening.

Have a great Saturday folks!

Good Mornin' (I think) everyone!

Maureen, that is soooooo awesome! Time to do a little YOU shopping!

Jackie, that's the best way to handle that. Give it to Allah (swt). Prayers still going your way. Hugs!

I am so pooped! I was up until almost two (reading qu'ran, so it was a good reason to be up). Tariq decided to wake me up at 7am informing me about bats. Yes, bats. Did I know that they are nocturnal mammals? Did I know that they are the ONLY mammals that can fly? Did I know that they find food by echolocation (although he said echolation :P )? And numerous other facts that I really would have liked to have slept through. I thought since he went to bed last night around 11pm, I would get at least until 9am to sleep. No, such luck. I really should have had another sibling for my son so he would have someone to play with, although I'm sure all they'd do is fight. Isn't that how it works?

Guess I should start cleaning the house now, blah! Gotta do the laundry too, blah! Not the most eventful way to start my 4 day vacation. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Have a great weekend, all!

Good morning! It's a quiet Saturday here. Clouds, possibility of rain and NO sun right now!!

Congrats Maureen!!! That's an awesome surprise!!

Tammy, happy you had a good time with everyone. Saw some of the pics on fb!!

We don't have much planned for the weekend. I have some shopping to do and Wael will

peer out from his laptop every so often to wave to me while doing papers.

I made Tacos last night for dinner. They were really horrible. Have no idea what went wrong

except kept thinking of the "pink taco and puffy taco". Was so hard to concentrate on a "plain"

taco. Oh well, we ate them...I complained and Wael smiled.

Sure hope everyone has a great weekend! Take care, have fun and be careful!!

Hello everybody! I am at home attempting to keep Malek from destroying everything. Right now he is mopping the floor. He is in training for learning to become a good husband one day.

Maureen....you go girl! I am coveting you and your lotto winnings! I never play because I am a tightwad but this is encouraging!

Jackie....keep your faith!

Have a nice day everybody!
