I plan to come around April 20. David should come for us on April 16. We are intending to buy the plain tickets after my interview.

I have to give the notice to my boss and say that I am leaving. I hope that I will not have an obligation to work 30 more days after that because I have my whole vacation for this year.

I have to prepare everything to a big removal across the ocean. :star:

Krystal, I hope you will receive the visa on time. :star:

Well everyone, tomorrow is wednesday and we bought the ticket for Friday evening and still haven't heard anything from dhl so pray and keep your fingers crossed that the visa is available for pick up by atleast Friday morning so he can pick it up and be on his way to the airport.

Fingers crossed and locked!

Just got back to Istanbul and now my computer seems to be working... I couldn't get online for several days, or would get online and then explorer would freeze and I couldn't do anything.

Was on a computer in the hotel lobby, this morning, and the Turkish keyboard was driving me crazy.. plus we had to get to the bus station, so didn't take time to read through all the posts I have missed lately.

Ney, I am soooo sorry to hear everything that happened, but I can only hope that it will be taken care of quickly.

I will definitely post our whole story later.. either tonight or tomorrow! When I thought they weren't going to let me in the embassy I thought I might have a nervous break down :)

But.. this part is behind us. Will fill you in as soon as I can. A & D.... I will be looking for news from you!!!!

I enjoyed reading your story. It was riveting. Oh I couldn't imagine all the emotions that morning. I think I would have threw up. I am kinda glad to hear you were shaking though, it's also something I tend to do in those situations. I really am so glad it worked out for you and that the interview itself was very positive and with a kind interviewer. I hope you are enjoying the rest of your trip with your mom too! Celebration!

I'm still at my uncles house in Lexington. I just didn't have the will to go home last night knowing that Mathew wasn't there. I just keep telling myself that it's not too much longer before I see him again and he gets his visa approved. But then there's always a teeny tiny small chance that he wont(depending on the mood of the CO).

Krystle, have you heard any news yet?

Kenyth and I are still working on our invitations.. lol. I never thought font would be such a big decision.

He's now working on his mcis for Sgt promotion. I'm still waiting for the Police Certificate... and someone is currently interested in my car, which would take a lot off my mind if that sells soon.

I'm trying to convince him to meet me in Montreal.. but vacation time is needed a few weeks later for wedding time.. so we'll see. I guess it wouldn't be such a big deal if he didn't come to Montreal, since I'd be seeing him soon after that anyway.

I'm about to lose it  I've been online at delta's website trying to call them and NONE of the gazillion numbers that they have listed work.

ALL the numbers are busy. So I google it and came up on the website that has a ton of complaints that delta posts the wrong customer service number on their site, that they charge a arm and a leg to change a flight and basically that their service sucks. So afeter I found a working number I called and waited 45 minutes just to hear the rep tell me that there's a $150 CHANGE FLIGHT FEE PLUS THE DIFFERNCE IN FARE!:crying::cry::crying:

Now I'm really freaking worried. That's why I gotta love Jetblue!

I've always flown on delta to the UK/Ireland and I've never had any problem with the service. I do know that their change fee is pretty high but keep calm. I'm sure he'll get what he needs in order to get here on friday!

I'm soooo sorry to hear the craziness! Please keep us posted. My thoughts are with you!!!

Nope, nothing yet... Still keep checking. If he doesn't get it to travel Friday then I lose because the ticket was $184 and the change fee is $150 soo I'll only have a credit of $34 toward a new ticket.

I'm still at my uncles house in Lexington. I just didn't have the will to go home last night knowing that Mathew wasn't there. I'm just a worrier, I guess. I made $50 less than what I needed to not have to use a co-sponsor. I'm only part time at my job and when that big snowstorm hit right before the end of the year, it knocked me out of about $1000 worth of work time. I'm having to use my mom as a cosponsor, which is no big deal since she makes well above that line, but I'm always worrying that I'm not going to have all the info that I need. I'm taking her taxes from the last few years, her w-2s(although I can't see how that will be needed), letter from her employer, and her I-134, but I'm still worried. I get so nervous at the thought of all this. I know Canada should be a breeze. I'm just weird.

Maggie, I got a coupon in my email from The American Wedding for free shipping if you spend $175. If you decide to go with something from them I'll gladly let you have it.

Speaking of invitations, I need to get started on that. And our website. I haven't worked on it in forever and it's on the save the dates that his family have already received. Oops, lol.

But as of now if looks like I have everything finished except:

Invitations

Catering

Tuxes and

Flowers

We're doing our own flowers, we just have to email what we want to the caterer, tuxes can be done a month before the wedding and I can order the invitations in about 5 minutes. Shoo, almost done!!!

Oh, and here's our wedding rings!

post-69004-1267044658_thumb.jpg

and here's one of my wedding and engagement together. I think the wedding ring looks weird unless it's paired with the other. I wasn't a fan until I put them both on.

post-69004-1267044647_thumb.jpg

I just hope that there's something my photographer can do about my hands in our wedding pictures. I have teeny tiny hands, and I wear a 6.75 in a ring, but when I took that picture it looks like they are little sausages. You'd think I wore a 11 or something.
