might be a stupid question but are you guys checking the automated line first? i spoke to an operator who said there was no case number but then rang the automated service the same day and it was there!!

Good to know. I sometimes check automated, but haven't been doing it every day. Did you first discover your case on the automated system on a Tuesday US time by any chance? IIRC James' shortcuts mention something about cases being uploaded to the automated system every Tuesday morning.

I did what you did. Talk to an operator like twice a day. If they have a case number for you, they will verify everything. I got it by talking to an operator. Then I checked the automated system and it still said NO CASE NUMBER. So might help trying both ways. Also I couldn't give them the email addresses right then, they said to wait until the next day.

does anyone know the average amount of days it takes for the 3032 to be accepted via e-mail? thanks!

Although I am not there yet, I think it's taking people about 1-2 weeks. Not sure.

For everyone who recently got NOA2... Congratulations... I would also suggest that you familiarize youself with the guides (James, Ling, general guides) and the NVC flowchart before ya'll start bombarding with questions that are easily answered in the guides... Once you are familiar with what you will need, then any specific questions can usually be answered by everyone here.... As well as our moral support.... :guides:

He went for his today. They told him 3 to 4 weeks???? :ranting: Good thing we are not in a rush because of not having a number from NVC yet...

I'm not sure exactly. He is staying with a few different friends in the North Oshawa/Courtice area, and since he was in the 'Shwa last night I'm guessing somewhere in North Oshawa. He said it only cost him $30, so that's not bad. We'll see how long it takes him to get it now.

Hrm. It'll probably depend on how common his last name is. My hubby's isn't very common at all - only about 50 people with the last name in Canada.

Are we able to pay the bills on-line with a UK card?

I do have a attorney, would they expect the payment from them and not me?

You cannot pay the fees with a visa card. It must be from a US bank account.

OK.

I still have I129f petition pending. Quite strange they asked for RFE; the status for I129f changed. Once I sent the RFE I130 status went from Pending to Approved :). I'm thrilled. What happens to I129f petition, surely it should have been approved as well ?

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

Your I129F will most likely not be approved.
