So any other US/UK packets have two different sizes of paper?? Lol I laughed when my boyfriend sent his photocopies and forms to me and I realized that they have a different sized standard paper than the US. I put the packet together with them anyway.

Anyone else have this problem? I am assuming it doesn't really make a difference except that it looks a tad messy....

Yes!!! All of the copies and such we made in Australia were ALL a different size. Our marriage cert, his birth cert, our photocopies, any document produced there..

It was a HUGE pain because the documents from the US consulate were US size :) It was no problem though - they didn't say anything to us though :)

I kinda like the AUstralian size better!@!

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

I had the same problem with the paperwork that my fiance sent me. Everything that she sent was A4, and all of my stuff was 8.5x11. It is just enough different to make it a pain in the butt to try to stack. I certainly hope that nothing gets messed up because something like that!! Of course we are dealing with the USCIS...

No problems with different size papers for us :) My only issue was that his long papers covered up the lovely tabs I had placed at the bottom of my papers to seperate the sections!

ha! yeah, everything he sent was on A4 size paper, and he sent them in these nicely put-together sheet protectors that were labeled and everything. I didn't even notice it was another size until I started putting my 8x11's into the A4-sized sheet protectors! They didn't fit.

So I went out and bought some folders to organize things into, and when I made copies of everything, they fit nicely on the 8x11 paper I was using to copy onto. The only things that I sent that were still on A4 were his forms (the ones he had to sign) and his letter of intent.

I had copies of papers from India that were slightly longer and had a purple tint to them. LOL! I thought the same thing while I was putting the packet together, but I still made our packet nice and neat. So, no worries.
