quick question guys, when i take out my passport from the packet, is it ok to tear off the plastic? i read on the instructions that i should never open the yellow envelope. i tried to open the plastic from the top but it seems like it is so tightly sealed, should i tear it open a bit enough to take out my passport?

hehehehehehehe...naremember ko before when i opened my packet sobrang nanginginig ako kasi ba naman tinakbo ko tindahan hanggang bahay nung tinext na ako ng mama ko na nandyan na ang inaantay ko...and that time nagpunta ako sa tindahan para tumawag sa delivery office ng visa...

when i opened my packet akala ko mali yung na open ko yung plastic hehehehehehe buti na lang tama na opened ko...kaka exciting kasi pag nahawakan mo na ang visa mo...kaya eenjoy mo muna te sasha414 ang moment mo dyan kasi siguro para ka pang lumulutang sa saya dahil makakasama mo na hubby mo.

God bless you te.

heheheh thanks bmtrrbt, alam ko feeling na yan. i kept checking the air21 site just to make sure  in fact, the days before the visa arrived, akala ko nagbago isip ng consul at hindi na ako bibigyan ng visa. this process is enough to drive people crazy

You can get your passport from the plastic but never ever get curious and open the envelope...

So you are saying that the huge letters of DO NOT OPEN on the envelope are serious and not just a joke?

Well, there were cases here in the past where curiousity got into them and checked what's in it. I remember, there was one applicant who could not be there to receive here visa at home because she was from a far province and she used her relative's place in Manila as the delivery address. The visa came and the cousin opened the envelope out of curiosity.

In the event that the envelope was opened, the applicant should go back to USEM to have it resealed... there's a chance that you'll also get chewed up for messing up with the packet... so yeah, I guess it's serious.
