No green card, no USC certificate for that waiting time, wife felt naked for that period with no proof that she was here legally. Guess they don't think about that. Still behooves me when they have a certified agent they don't trust to make a copy of your certificate so you can have it back. But I guess from dealing with the USCIS for years, may tend to get a bit paranoid. But apparently the USCIS and the DOS is more paranoid than we are. Our state started enforcing immigration laws about two years ago like other states, feds ain't doing nuttin. Just making it more miserable for the people that are trying their absolute best to do everything legally.

Received email today form state.gov with USPS tracking number that my passport was sent yesterday. I should receive it sometime soon.

8/14/2009 upgarded the I-130 to immedi Reltive

8/25/2009 send I-129F

9/2/2009 NOA1 for I-129f received

9/10/2009 sent expedite request.

9/16/2009 first Touch since 6/27/2008

9/16 129f and I-130 Approved

9/22 Hard copies received

9/23/2009 NVC received my I29f/K3 still waiting for the I130

9/24 I29f sent to embassy

I got an email from state that they mailed my passport and i should receive it by the 14th. It's less than a month ago when I applied.

Your passport application locator number is XXXXXXXX. You requested delivery by regular mail. Passport Agencies use Priority Mail. This means you should receive your passport on or about 09/15/2009.

You could checked the timeline above of everyone that processed they're passport, when they've got it and when does the certificate arrived after the passport.

I received my passport today via priority mail. However my naturalization certificate was not with the passport? For those of you who have received your passport, How long did it take for the certificate to follow in the mail?
