haha Saw that last week from a friend in the UK. Hilarious.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

And from that link that Otto posted:

The warning comes after Australian call centre worker Kyle Doyle faked a sick day in order to get off work.

Doyle posted "Not going to work, f*** it i'm still trashed SICKIE WOO" only to find out days later that his supervisor saw the update on his Facebook status and refused him to process an official absence day form.

OMG, that totally reminded me of the time my cousin, Kelly, made an email error!

So she and her husband, Jay, had not long had a baby and they were heading up north to his father's B&B for the weekend. So Kelly decides to head up early. I'd been over the night before for dinner and there were lots of leftovers, so Kelly emailed Jay the following message:

"The keys are on the counter. You can eat the leftovers for dinner. And DON'T FORGET THE CONDOMS!!!!!"

And then she hit "Send".

Only she'd just been set up with a new ISP and mailer and hadn't realized that she'd attached her entire address book to the distribution list! Including her boss and her father-in-law!!!!!!! :o:lol:

OMG, so I received the email at work and I'm HOWLING because I'd just hit "Reply-All" saying:

"Thanks! Looks like it's going to be a great weekend!" because I thought she was sending it to me.

So then my phone rings and she's on there freaking out, and I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. And there are people appearing at my office door literally killing themselves laughing because I can't stop laughing and I'm practically on the floor.

OMG.

Thanks for the memories.

BTW..... they conceived another child that weekend because she got drunk and forgot to use the condoms.

Krikit?

That made my day! I laughed out loud at that. My worst, worst nightmare is sending the wrong person an email or a whole group of people an email not intended for them!

Loved that... thanks for sharing...

:D

Oh wow! To story A. and story B.! :lmao:

I did something almost as stupid once. My husband, who was just my boyfriend at the time, wanted me to write up my idea of a perfect romantic weekend and e-mail it to him. Well... it wasn't really PG-13... and when I went to hit send I somehow accidentally CC'd my cousin. I e-mailed her and told her not to read the last e-mail! She said she didn't but I bet she did...
