Can't believe I didn't ask for this before.

So back in March 2008, I asked my husband to apply for a tourist visa to come visit me here. At that time, we had no intention of staying here: we were planning to move to Dubai at the time. Of course, he was rejected....

So will that have an impact on our current case?

Timeline:

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

TBC....

Should not at all effect your current case. He probley did not show them enough evidence / strong ties of reason to return to his home after visit to USA. Thats most likely why he was refused. Dont worry, it will be fine.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
