Stuck At NVC

Called NVC and operator says , case under review. Takes two to 4 weeks.

" how many weeks has it been since Aug 4" that is when my IV package arrived was entered into NVC system.

she says, i cant answer specifics, but your whole package recieved on Aug 4 is under review. and takes 2-4 weeks. it can take longer"

"what you mean by longer. Are they backed up right now"

" I can't tell you that.

what do I do. what should be the course of action for me. do I start contacting Senators, congressman, Bill. Hillay clinton, Barak Hussein, Madeline Albright, Colin powell, who else.

What? Awww, Mohan I am so sorry to hear that! It's probably some red-tape mumbo-jumbo... I can't advise you as to your next step but it's only a little past 3 weeks now -- wait the full 4 and then see what's going on...

I'm sorry about this -- if it makes you feel even a teeny-tiny bit better, we here in Canada have to wait months for our interviews to take place so I too am in a black hole of waiting.

Mo, call and ask if your case is in AP!! NVC will not tell you it is, they will not voulunteer that info, YOU have to ask that dirty question!!!! I pray it is not in AP. Call and ask. Its taking way too long to complete your case.

I agree with calling to see about AP but you just have to wait. You haven't been at NVC that long, honestly.

Sometimes petitions are ' pulled randomly ' for checks before NVC sends them to the designated Embassies.

I called Last night and spoke to an operator. She put me on hold and came back to tell me that my case was in teh review department. So i asked if I were in AP she said no, she did not see anything of that nature. and she said I was still going through normal review. She said they may be backup and that is why it is taking time

Just to confirm i called this morning again, and spoke to a different operator. I asked the same question, " Am I in AP" She agian said no , your case is going through normal review processing and takes 2-4 weeks to complete the review, sometimes takes longer

Yes, called this monring and AVR says " we completed this case on Aug 26th. Please allow ..."

Called back and spoke to an operator. She confirmed both the cases have beeon completed as of yesterday. Cannot logint o NVC payment site either.

She also said, "NVC schedules interview on the second week of a month for the following month. we cannot give you sepetember interview date for the load the kathmandu Consular office has. So call back on or after Sept 15 and you may get October date. Keep in mind that depends on the couslar business, meaning how swamped they are."

Well, seems like i am on the final lap of the journey.

Wait till she gets the letter, then do medical, but in meanwhile, check on VJ embassy section for the embassy where she is at, they may lf listed doctors to see for the medical. Again, congrats!!! Could not of happened to a nicer person!!!!

NVC ma chai Additional processing re ani Embassy level ma chai Administrative Processing re. Khai ke khai ke .....ma ta kurai bujhdina

aba tetro sabai processing garera GC , tespachi thap processing garera Citizenship li sakeko lai pheri ke ko Additional Processing.

Luckily my case was not in AP. In fact what i have found or heard is usually I-130 cases are not in AP at the NVC level becasue if any needs to conducted, it will be done at the Embassy.

My parents also have interview scheduled on Oct 14. As i see, u guys already have medical done. Did she did emdical done before embessy called? Can we just directly got o the doctor's place for the medical or have to go after embessy called?
