Hello,

I am USC and my wife has her conditional residency (green card). We are moving from the place we had in all our immigration documentation. What is the process by which to do this? I don't want any problems with Immigration!

By the way, I love this site. It helped me a lot (calmed me down, too!) when going through the whole immigration process. You guys are awesome and all of your help has always been much appreciated.

Thanks! Is that all?

And boy they sure give you just a tiny window of time (10 days) before threatening removal proceedings.

we just did that... since my wife's case was still pending when I filed for change of address (but got approved just two days ago), I had to do both the snail-mail and electronic version. It was supposed to speed up the process of updating the address, however, according to their customer rep, it will take up to 45 days for the information to be registered in the system... how ridiculous! What's the point of using electronic filing then?

So, that's it? Just those two forms? I mailed in the I-865, and now have the receipt from USCIS. And then I will have my wife go online to fill out the AR-11.

Is that it? Nothing more at all? I want to be extra, extra sure.

We have gone through WWAAAAYY too much with Immigration to mess things up over a change of address.

My wife's AOS is pending, and we did an info-pass to inquire about our case's lag. While there, we informed the USCIS official that we had moved. They said they could do it right there for us if we wanted. We did, and now all paperwork goes to our new address. Maybe that's a way of doing it also if you have a case pending.
