Change of Home Phone Number

hi, Guys

I had to change my home phone # because my husband had identity theft and we are getting strange phone calls.

Should I tell them ??? but I don't know how...

Please tell me how I can let them know my new phone# if anybody knows.

Call the 800 number and ask/tell them.

Phone number is really not necessary so there is no need to notify USCIS (they primarily communicate by mail - rarely, if ever, do they call and you'll notice the I-751 doesn't even ask for your telephone number). Save yourself the headache of calling USCIS.

Our phone number changed as well while my application was still pending but we didn't bother to notify USCIS and everything went OK. Did you gave them your cell phone # where they could contact you at least? One member here posted that she had phone calls from an immigration officer so it's still important that they have your number where they can contact you just in case they will call.

On the I-751, you will notice at the bottom of Part I, they do ask for your phone number. At least on my I-751, they do. I still recommend calling. You may even want to write USCIS Service Center referencing Case #, A #, etc and give them your new phone number.

thanks for bringing this up, we disconnected our landline and use cell phone now................
