I have moved twice since I got my 2-year green card approved and I always filed AR-11. I have copies with the online confirmation number so I could submit it with my I-751. We know that USCIS change of address system is still not so sophisticated. Where do you think they are gonna send my reminder letter. On my first address where I filed my first case is definitely gonna be returned as undeliverable or my current address. What do you think? Any experiences?

We'd moved once by the time we filed for ROC and we never received the reminder letter. It does not matter anways as that's all it is, a reminder; once you file for ROC they will send everything to the address you give them on your I-751.

We have moved also and just got the reminder letter at our OLD address. Hubby was pissed and frustrated. I went online to file another AR-11, wrote down the new confirmation number, and came on here to see if anyone else had some info. I hope this won't hurt us when we apply to lift conditions at the end of the month!

Our Story:

Jan 2003 moved to Campeche, met Edgar three weeks later

Dec 2006 filed I-129f

Dec 6 CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!

I moved and then filed the AR-11 and also changed the address with USCIS online (https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa). Received the reminder to remove conditions in our new address. I also remember getting a letter once I did the USCIS change of address online stating that they have updated all of my AOS applications (130,485, 131 and 765) with this new address.

We filed AR-11 online last August 2008 when we moved in our new place and got a printed copy with the confirmation receipt. Then the other day I got a reminder letter abour removal of condition sent to our old address. I am submitting my I-751 this first week of September and will enclose my printed confirmation receipt.

If your AOS applications were all pending, then they would send you a letter. But nothing was pending for us when we changed our address (we did it online, too) hence why we didn't get a letter.
