i'm on k3 visa now . and i want to change the interview date because my wife goes to school and she needs to be free to go to the interview with me . that,s why , anyway i didnt get the interview date yet

When you do get the interview date - as stated above - it would not be advisable to attempt to change it - best to make whatever changes are necessary to any personal schedules first.

Interview may or may not be scheduled.

as a K-3 your chances of an interview are near 100%

we are moving back to a different state by the end of december so they will change the interview date it might be delayed for a month or two but thats fine i guess.

But you think i will have an interview 100 % ?

despite i know a friend who got the GC from k3 visa without any interviews

near a 100% but not 100%...

recently they have been transferring more and more K-3 AOS application to CSC in an attempt to approve without interview... it is a recent change and may be more as time goes on

YMMV

yes i guess thats it but when do you normally know your interview date?

When you file AOS, the next step will be a biometrics appointment (have you had that yet?) - that typically comes fairly soon after you first file (maybe a month or so after). After that, you are in line for processing - that can take a couple of months or it could take a year (that's how long it could take for you to get the interview scheduled).

See link below for average processing times:
