Employment History Question

Hi all,

My fiance is currently a student and has been going to school for the past 4 years. During that time, she has had a few different jobs. On the forms, I'm listing the school as one of the employers and the occupation as "student" (I did this with my form too as I only graduated ~3 years ago).

My question is, if we put her down as "student 2005-2009" as well as list the jobs she's held while studying, do we still need to fill in the gaps between those jobs with "unemployed" or will we be okay not doing that since she's been "employed" as a student during that entire time.

On my form I listed: 1) Job-A (Aug-08 to Present); 2) Job-B (July-06 to July-08); 3) University Student (Sept-02 to June-06)

Also, when listing the employer name and address, is it sufficient to list just the City and the State/Country for the address part?

Thanks very much.

You should fill in the jobs she has had and the gaps between would be unemployed. Being a student while it is hard work is not considered employment and should not be listed UNLESS she was working for the university and getting a paycheck for the work.

Do not include student under employment. Fill all gaps with unemployed.

Schools are not employers (of students) and it does not ask for education information. Please, read carefully and interpret literally (credit to Puskbrk for that succinct observation). "Gaps" are periods of "unemployment" List it as "unemployed" and occupation is "NA" City/state/country is sufficent for employer address
